There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open because, there is a place in Africa where everything lives in a state of an adventurous, thrilling and a nail-biting tension; TANZANIA and her sanctuaries that are still pristine, unique and a spectacular Marvel. The following program is meant to expose you to the Northern Circuits of our famed national parks each with its standing out characteristic. It also allows you to experience and appreciate scenic landscapes that is accessed by road and air. The program is custom made but can be adjusted to your preference depending on the length of stay and budget allocated to it. A perfect way to end a perfect Safari is the extension to Zanzibar for an experience that is arguably satisfying as it grants you the exposure of its tropical beaches, islets and coral reefs as well as a rich cultural history.

Day 1: | Arrival
Upon arrival, a representative will meet you at the arrival lounge. You will then be motioned towards your vehicle and after a brief formal introduction; you will proceed to Moshi Town.

Day 2: Moshi – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, drive from Moshi (Springlands hotel) to Lake Manyara National Park (about 4 hours). After having a picnic lunch in Manyara, you start a late afternoon game drive, which is the best time to view animals in this park. When you approach it from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon forming an impressive backdrop to the lake. In the tall trees of the ground water forest, monkeys leap from branch to branch, and on the escarpment, elephants stand in the shade. Other animals frequently seen are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and others.
Day 3: Karatu – Serengeti National Park.
The drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge takes 3 to 4 hours. Olduvai Gorge is an archaeological site located in the eastern Serengeti plains, in which early human fossils were first discovered. It has an amazing landscape that resulted from the same tectonic forces that created the Great Rift Valley millions of years ago. Enjoy game viewing en-route to you Tented Camp arriving in good time.

Day 4 & 5: 2 nights at Serengeti Safari Lodge or similar, full board.
The Serengeti, with its endless expanses and wild animals’ makes one feel as though evokes a sense of having arrived in an apparently peaceful corner of the world. After crossing the Mara River, the migrating herds follow the seasonal rains and head south to the mash plains of Serengeti where the volcanic soils create pasture rich in minerals. It is here during the Months of January – March that these Beests make their longest stop on a journey that takes a year to go full circuit covering some 300 miles. Africa’s top predators assemble for a very special event then because each January, these plains experience the world’s largest baby borns. Over half a million calves are born and it is this moment of birth that a story begins. A story that goes on a cycle extending to the South Western Plains of the Mara ecosystem in Kenya and back to where it all started making it the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet and perhaps the most breath taking event in the Animal Kingdom.
A Balloon Safari gliding over the Savannah plains of Serengeti early in the morning on the last day is undoubtedly a mega highlight of your visit. The one-hour flight is considered fun and magical as it offers a delightful and an amazing experience, floating over the enormous herds of wildlife giving you a chance to view of the dense and surface of the restricted areas of the conservation.
Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti with lunch boxes. Proceed to Ngorongoro arriving in the evening.

Day 7: Crater Tour
After breakfast, Descend into the Crater, a caldera that contains some of the finest black‑maned lions in Africa. The floor of the crater is only 100 sq miles but is home to around 25,000 animals with a high concentration of predators. Rhino can be seen with calves at heel. Eland and waterbuck appear not to notice the human visitors hence giving a good posture for a picture (s). Enjoy your picnic lunch with the hippos and birds! In the late hours of the Afternoon, ascend out of the crater and proceed to your lodge.

Day 8: Cultural Tours around Lake Manyara, Flight to Zanzibar
On this day, you have a number of tour options that you can conduct either on foot or on cycles. Most of these tours take an average minimum time of 3 ½ hrs. They include:
- Village walk in Mto wa Mbu where you will get to visit banana plantations, rice plantation, banana beer brewing, local fruits market, Makonde tribesmen who are skilled in wood carvings and other economic engagements such as local painting centers where you can experience the use of odd tools for painting such as a knife.
- Maasai Boma visit where you the opportunity to know about their indigenous lifestyles such as , Traditions, History, Beliefs and Social practices such as marriage ceremony, circumcision ceremony. You also get the chance to experience other interesting practices such as Milking a Cow, traditional dances and folk singing and making fire from two pieces of wood.
- Cycling tour to the Unseasonal waterfalls in Miwalen area that involves a little bit of hiking along the escarpment towards the waterfalls. The tour takes you through the banana plantation fields and a village en-route. This tour can be combined to also experience local cuisine and how it is prepared.
In the early hours of the Afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha and onward transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar.
End of Safari Sector / Beginning of Zanzibar Extension
Upon arrival, you will be met & transferred to your Stone town Hotel in good time for check in. thereafter you will be taken to dine at Emerson’s above the rooftops of Zanzibar. Enjoy intimate dining and fresh seafood prepared in the manner, which has earned a worldwide reputation. Listen to the call to prayer at around 8pm from more than 45 town mosques. After dinner, you are accompanied back to your hotel.

Day 9: Stone Town City Tour & Dhow Cruise
After breakfast, visit the historical City for a tour starting at the city market to experience the hustle and bustle of the day’s trade, visit the Anglican Church built in 1874 by Bishop Steer on the site of the old slave. En-route to the Zanzibar Museum, visit the nearby underground chambers where slaves were kept until they were sold at the market and after a further short drive, you will arrive at the High Court, Africa House Hotel, and the former British Club and onto the old Arab Fort.
Lunch break at any restaurant of your choice. In the afternoon, engage on a Dhow adventure before being transferred to your beach hotel in the evening.

Day 11: Safari Blue (lunch included) Full day
Today, you have the day to engage on a full day of beach adventures starting at the fishing village situated in the southwest corner of the island. The bay has a number of beautiful uninhabited islands and sandbanks and is frequented by humpback and bottlenose dolphins. After snorkeling, a fresh green coconut is offered before moving to a desert island for lunch, which is served, on picnic tables set up beneath the shade of some tamarind trees. Lunch is a traditional Zanzibar meal and includes a selection of seafood. Cold drinks are available throughout the day and include mineral water, sodas and beer. Toilets are available on the island too and if the tide allows, you will visit a beautiful mangrove lagoon where it is possible to swim through the mangrove forest.
Return to your lodge in the evening. Overnight at Mahali Zanzibar (HB)
Day 12 & 13: Stay at Leisure in Zanzibar. Overnight at Mahali Zanzibar (HB)
Day 15: Departure
After breakfast, you can spend the morning hours at leisure before being transferred to the Airport in good time for your scheduled departure flight to Dar es Salaam where you will connect with your international departure flight.
